I don't know why but alot of Russian secretive plane pictures are taken at fields

A Farman F-4X Jabirus to be precise. I found a german website full of weird and wonderfull aircraft here which I nabbed it from. Might be the same place you saw it too.

Off the top of my head a Curtiss Helldiver converted to a water bomber?

By the way CN loving your series of obscure ag aircaft & water bomber photos. My dad has the Topdressers book (& sequel) you mention back a few pages - I must have another browse through it when I'm there next.

Not a Helldiver. Glad your enjoying it. Im running out though. Ill have to have a think about what else I can put up.
