Vote for September Screenie Comp Winner!

Post and comment on screen captures from the beautiful game here. Home of the monthly screenshot competition

Postby ardypilot » Sun Sep 30, 2007 7:36 pm

There are not as many screenshots to choose from this month, however the entries that have been made are all very good and its going to be tough to decide upon a winner!

Please take the time to pick your favourite from the above. You can see full sized versions of the entries by either clicking the thumbnails above, or viewing this post: http://nzff.org/forum/viewtopic.php?t=4318

All the best everyone, please only vote once, and not for yourself.

This poll will run until October 3rd, and on that day, the winner will be declared. If there is a tie between multiple members, we will ask a Robin from REALNZ to decide a winner.

Please do not disclose which shot you entered for in this post, all the best to everyone! thumbup1.gif

Yes, well done, for a while I thought I'd have to make a decision on the tie... The banner looks great, doesn't it?
Which brings up a point -- if I'd had to choose, I would have gone for the most effective banner layout. Albatross' is spot-on. Maybe worth some thought when submitting a screenshot.

Good point, actually.
Mine wasn't going to be such a great banner because you'd have to butcher the content or else pad it out, in which case the subject becomes lost:

So how about changing the aspect ratio of the SS comp shots to fit the banner?
Text could be left out so Trolly still has a bit of creative licence.

Good point- I'll add that in for the rules for this months competition. Sorry for the delay, should be ready by tomorrow.
