You'll never guess this location (Bill Dick knows, so the only way anyone else can know is to get it out of us) laugh.gif I have discovered scenery design this morning and this is my first effort...

OK, feel free to read the image file titles, that will help... You might guess from the "right Click" method

OK, it's the Dunedin area as close as i can get it by comparing with Google - remember: First Attempt... dry.gif

Nice shots/airport Chris! - do those balloons move or are they static - FSX feature?

The Right click method provided 'Brighton Beach'......still dunno where that is though?! haha

Naki: They are default FSX models but static as far as im aware....dont suppose there is much hassle turning the models into AI and writing a flight plan though??

Some of the default FSX objects do have animations: Birds, Dolphins, animals etc...and of course you get the water and road traffic which zips around the place

yep, well I didn't exactly make it difficult, did I now laugh.gif

What really, really surprised me is how easy it all is! Even an old knacker like me can do it! Although i do have some issues with the layering of different textures - sometimes the beaches are there and the city disappears, sometimes i get the city to show and the golf club vanishes...

It's all about learning curves...

Oh, and yes, they are static FSX objects. I still have to work out how to make some scenery libraries yet, but that won't be long in coming...
