Vulcan XH558 soon to fly!

A place for 'real world' pilots and aviation enthusiasts to discuss their hobby

Hi all!

Check this out: Vulcan taxi vid. This was her first taxi uner her own power post restoration. All the engineering is done, paperwork practically finished, so all going well by the end of the month she should be flying!

Won't that be something to see?

I've done my bit to help '558 fly again - keenly awaiting my Vulcan diary, Vulcan keychain and Vulcan patch to arrive from Bruntingthorpe.

It will certainly be something to see - I remember (just - I was quite young) a Vulcan overflying New Plymouth at an airshow in the early 70's.

Vulcans are awesome!!!!!!!!! I saw the one at Duxford, it's one of the coolest aeroplanes there IMO.

I agree, very cool aeroplanes. The most random one is the one at the Castle Air Museum in the US. Just got left there!
