Last Night the trusty Turbo'd 206 Stationair was fired up from SYD along with a Money Bravo. Departed SYD around 2000au and headed south. The weather report said for okay flying conditions. YEAH RIGHT. AVT and "NZ200" levelled at 2500ft tracking to Wollongong, bout 15nm out of WOL the weather got interesting, NZ200 reported 0vis from 2500ft down the 300ft, but we're both nuts so we continued on and landed safely. 08 was the active with wind at 057@7KNT, the 206 didn't mind a bit of a head wind, and by this time, Creator had swapped to a Lancaster Bomber.
We took off, still heading south, towards Nowra. We climbed up to 2000ft, weather was still pretty bad. Rain, 10vis and scattered cloud. AVT continued to climb up to 3000ft where the weather was ok. Weather upon landing was at minims, Next leg NZ200 was a T-6 and AVT was still the Turbo'd 206 Stationair ll, the flight continued south to Moruya where the decision was made to park up overnight.
More tales tonight as the flight will be continuing if the weather is kind.
