There are plenty of threads around about water textures, but in my opinion, the best are Real Environment Pro (freeware)

Available here

I went into that link to AVSIM and i clicked "download". It came up with another window with the little downloading symbol in the bottom-left corner. After it finished, it came up with another window that had 3 files in it. One said set-up and there were a couple of others(i think one sdaid readme). So i clicked extract all files and did waht i'd usually do (my comp, then program files....blah blah blah). I selected to extract them into effects/tectures but then it came up and said "NO FILES TO EXTRACT" ???????? What do i need to do to get it on the game!!?

Thanks

You may want to try downloading it again, see if you still have the problem after downloading it again.

There are many you can try, its difficult to find something that looks good in differant areas, and differant times. Also the type of flying you do will effect what is going to be best, some are really only good for low flying, whilst others aren't the best too low. You may want to try quite a few, and see what looks the best for you.

Thanks

So if it does work next time, when it comes up with the window with the 3 files; what file do i extract it into on FS9 (addon-on scenery? tectures? effects? etc)

It sounds like a program is automatically trying to open the file or something. Usually, you'd just get a standard prompt asking you where you'd like to download the file to. From there you would extract it using a program like WinZip or WinRar, then follow the instructions contained within the readme. winkyy.gif
