AVSIM Not working! Need help!

A place to converse about the general aspects of flight simulation in New Zealand

Postby ScottyB » Wed Nov 14, 2007 6:56 pm

Hi everyone,

I really need some help here. I go into avsim and no-matter which file i download, i cant get it onto my FS9. EVERY OTHER WEBSITE WORKS!! Grrrr!! So i go into AVSIm and click on a flie to download. It then comes up with a window with 1-3 files in it. Normally i'd click "extract all files", then put them in FS9. But with AVSIM, i try to extract them and then it comes up with "no flies to extract". I just cant get it going. Ive tried to download the same file over and over again, plus many others and it doesnt work!!! Grrrrr

I NEED HELP!!!

THANKS

What file is it? Is it all or just one? I had that with only one file and couldn't solve it. It wouldn't be AVSIM's problem as I can download things at the moment. I would suggest getting in touch with the author and letting him know, others may be experiencing the same problem as you.

Just bear in mind that if you do try to re-download after a faulty attempt, you may need to clear your cache, otherwise you may not really be getting the correct file.

This is normally under your browser Options. For instance, in Firefox:
Tools: Options: Advanced tab: Cache: Clear now
