RNZAF History

Post and comment on screen captures from the beautiful game here. Home of the monthly screenshot competition

I don't know if anyone's done something like this before, (if someone has, I apologise - please link me) but I thought it would be a bit of fun if we all posted some screenshots of different aircraft used by the RNZAF over the years from our collective add-on arsenals. I know there's plenty of them spread out through the archives here. I'm not too concerned about the order they're in (historically) or if there's a few repeats of the same aircraft. So let's do it - screenies of all manner of past and present RNZAF birds, in all manner of paint jobs.

I'll kick off then shall I?

I think these posts are a great idea- first the cold war, now this. Perhaps next we could do NZ Airliners? If only my FS9 comp wasn't buggered at the moment.. dry.gif

Its the scenery that comes with the FDG2 Donationware Corsair pack, Vella la Vella airfield. it has AI Corair, dauntless and TBM doing circuits also.

DH-104 1948 - 1981

Dak, 1943-1977

Great Shots Fauville , I was lucky enough to get a ride , as a bag off spud's / ballast during a twin rate flight in a Devon 2 hours test flight .. ohmy.gif Damm that was fun cool.gif running to the plane like INDIANA JONES laugh.gif great fun

The C47/DC3 Dakota, Skytrain , Gooney bird , AC-47 to LC47 .. 1977 ! I was at the crash gate on the corner of Avonhead / Ryans Road when three C47's come in low and saluted the NZCH tower in Vic formation ...

HEADS UP, ........ RNZAF History Anyone out there with photo's off the SHORT SUNDERLAND , Non published , personal photos , even if aircraft in the background .. Contact me , send a note , kick me biggrin.gif

KEA It dose not matter doing 'repeats' Screen shots can never be copied , 'Idea Great '- maybe the same sometimes but people forget , who to say the first was the best ... smile.gif and if to close to original , always link subject smile.gif

Heh you guys have used up all my screenshots.
KYB she's a beauty in FSX, all right. Your #6 with the dive brakes on is a winner.
Brock, let me guess that is the Capsim Herk and MAIW standing around...stock Whenuapai?
Did I mention there is a RNZAF Ai package...authentic Steve Jenks paints.
Trolly I still think the Harvards are the best photosubjects, nice shot there.
Except every time I enter Harvards in the MSSC, I get just about no votes.
Go figure...

Andrew, the light blue Devon can be found on Flightsim, just search under DH-104. There is also a scheme for the NZ Warbirds Dove/Devon.

Charl ,agree about the Harvards, especially with so many skins available
