Beech Shots

Post and comment on screen captures from the beautiful game here. Home of the monthly screenshot competition

Well, seeing as I haven't posted shots for ages, I thought I'd chuck some up of a beech flight I just flew. :)

So, here we are on the ground at Auckland.

Loaded up and just about ready to go...

Taxiing out to 23L

Climbing out on a Waiuku Departure...

Flying into the Waikato

Another shot out of the VC

Nice office huh? :)

Descending into Rotorua

Turning onto the 12DME arc for runway 18

Looking out towards Tauranga

...and towards the other lakes as we turn onto finals

So now we're onto finals for runway 18

And we're rolling out, just about ready to vacate

Thats it, hope you liked. :)

Thanks Naki, its the first flight in ages for me (maybe 2-3 months), and one thing I noticed just then was the PAPI lights there for rwy 18 are on the wrong side - IRL they are on the lake side (because where they are now is start of 18 Grass). :ph43r:

Always been a fan of your screenshots Alex, nice series.
Speaking of lights, is that light bloom or do you have a custom halo file, they seem quite large.

Thats a downloadable changer that I've tweaked a little and meant to test out some more, but never got round to it... Something to do over the hols. So yea, it's a different halo.bmp file, and some tweaks in the fs9.cfg. ;)

Different ground textures as well, but I'm not really sure if I like them or not...

Its Savern Reweti's 'Auckland 2005'. Definately a frame hog (I lose about 10 while I'm looking at it), but I don't think there is anything comparable to it right now. :)

Looks like default FSX scenery to me.

Great to see you post Alex, I like your cropping edits.

Definently auckland 2005 Trolly...

Awesome Shots Alex! But you need to download the Eagle paint of Avsim- This one is a tad unrealistic!

Realistic schmealistic, but yes, I do know what you mean, and I have seen it around. I'll check it out one day... :wink2:

Yea ill D/L those too, I can see the quility difference ;)
It must help having the Auto Pilot up there on the panel, in the o'l C its down between the Capt and F/O seats, can be just a tad enoying having to pan down there to turn it off while flying the approch <_<

Yeah now I look again at the ground textures I can see that- I was just looking at the landclass textures in the other shots and presuming it was FSX- my bad! :whoops:
