Where was that ? I read a trip report on Sam Chui's website not long ago (really good site by the way) of a flight with an airline in Iran I think using possibly the last scheduled 707 passanger service in the world... They may have finished up by now. Was it there...?

This was in Zimbabwe back in 1996; I believe it was taken out of service only a few months after I flew on it. That was back when Air Zimbabwe actually had a decent fleet and passengers to fly.
I've read that Sam Chui trip report as well, I believe the airline is called Saha Air. I think they are owned by the Iranian military if I remember correctly. I think they do still have one 707 flying passengers as I saw some photos on Airliners.net only a few months ago taken on it.Last edited by FlyingKiwi on Thu Dec 06, 2007 10:44 am, edited 1 time in total.

ZK-AWP was brought in as a replacement for one of the daks that had lost a wing by Airland.Airland was eventually taken over by Feildair.Airland was a company made up of James Aviation,Feildair and I think Rural Aviation.James Aviation did a lot of the conversions on the daks including making them suitable for single pilot use.
