I did the best i could Andrew, with what little info and pics i had at hand.
This is more like what it would have looked like a year ago, there are a lot of new roads, and housing developments going in now, all around the airfield, including houses backing right on to the runway, like at Pauanui Beach......................
Fly in, park in your back yard, hop out, walk into your house.......................
I built it primarily to match up to the Red Baron NZ Topo scenery, but it will display fine in the old FS2002 Godzone Photoreals as well.
STEVE,.....
No, there are NO static aircraft in any of my sceneries. I hate statics !! All you see are AI aircraft.
Some from GNZLAP, and some from my own custom AI. The DC-3s you see in the pics are all painted in NZ colours (NAC, Mount Cook Airlines, etc ), and are part of a ficticious vintage tourist airline i have plying its trade all around NZ in DC-3s.
You DONT have to download the EZ texture libraries etc, each time you install one of my sceneries.
Once youve downloaded a particular texture set, and installed it in the static objects library, you dont need to download it again.
If you have all my sceneries that i have built so far installed, right up to, and including Whangarei and Whitianga, if you have downloaded and installed all the texture sets mentioned in each install instructions, you now have all the sets that i will ever use.
The lists are provided for those that may not have all the sceneries installed, and i dont think i will be going down the road of including textures with a scenery ever again,........ too many double up problems.
I will ONLY include textures with a scenery if they are photoreal or custom textures in the future.
