This aircraft is Donationware from the Group "Gemeinsam helfen e.V." a humanitarian project with the help of some members of the of the German Air Force. In Reality the C-160 isin the last days with the Luftwaffe. (2010?) the "Trall" would be replaced by the Airbus A-400M. But in these days the "Trall"
is used in many theaters... Afghanistan, UN-flights in Africa, Transport-Jobs in Europe, help in Russia during the winter of 1990 ... it was and is a very helpful Angel during the years... and aircraft to remember...

This aircraft is in my eyes also a sign, what Germany does in they world... not so loud with the big stick... but something humanitarian in this is sometimes very effect- and useful.

Nice looking model, FS9 or 10?

My wifes parents live not far from Base Aerienne 105, Fauville AB just outside Evreux in Normandie, France, which is one of the main Transall bases for l'armee de l'air and I have watched these do circuit after circuit from their back garden when we have gone over to visit.

This aircraft is for FS 2004. But in FS X there is a smal update available. But some features are in FS X not available, like the dropping of parachuts and something other. I have only 4 hours with this aircraft in FS 2004 and have something to find out about...

On the other hand it is with the Panel-Update and some of the new Repaints a very interesting aircraft. The french version I want to use in the next time to fly from Reunion to Mayotte in the Indian Ocean (near Madagaskar) This is not fiction, they are in use there.

The german Version has in the next time also something to do. In the package is Landsberg Air Base in Bavaria. From there are flights to Decimomannu, Aviano, (Italy) to Suda Bay (Crete) to various british Bases, to Kevlavik AB(Iceland) Incirlik AB (Turkey)... lot to do. The Captain Sim C-130 has now some time to wait.
