Dunno how helpfull the caa website will be
Yeah Waikato and AFS as well as NAC are all done through the NMIT...With Air Hawkes Bay done through EIT in Napier. Obviously Massey is done through Massey, and Im sure IAANZ is done through some place in Chch."ZK-KAG"

Well I have been looking around, as I am about 90% sure I am going to continue on and do my CPL, and I was thinking I would need to enrol in one of the 'NZQA approved' courses so I could fund it with the studly loan... however a quick chat with the CFI over the weekend has changed my mind and I think I will be able to just continue working and self fund it...
anyway... I had a chat with the guy from Southern Wings and he was very upfront and seemed fairly genuine... he wasnt full of bullshit and didnt try to feed me any cr@p about walking onto the flightdeck of a jet with 200hrs in my back pocket etc...
He said they try and help out with employment insofar that they have contacts with various operators (mostly south island) and will try and point you in the right direction and try and get you a foot in the door, but ultimately it is up to the individual to get out there and secure work."Son, we are about the break the surly bonds of gravity, and punch the face of God." -- Homer Simpson

QUOTEWhere will Cadets be employed during the Cadet Industry Placement Program (CIPP)?
CIPP employment will not be with Qantas and may include Regular Public Transport, Charter, Instructional, Regional Airline or other flying. Employment locations may include regional or city areas throughout Australia or the Asia Pacific region.[/quote]
So it looks like it may not even be "Qantas Group"..."Son, we are about the break the surly bonds of gravity, and punch the face of God." -- Homer Simpson
