CAP over the Coromandel

Two brilliant freeware addons have been released for fs2004 in the latter part of this month, being Robin Corn's photoreal Coromandel Peninsula, and Samdim Design's Mudry CAP-10B aerobatic aircraft.

I intended to show both of these off today in this screenshot collection, however, my ActiveSky real world weather turned to cr@p during my flight and not much of the scenery can be seen, I'll try and get some decent screenies when the weather clears up ;)

Anyway you can still enjoy these 10 images of the CAP, an amazing aircraft both in terms of aerobatic performance and model quality in the simulator- the head latency effect in the VC is amazing, sinking your head view right down as you pull hard G-forces, which are measured with a gauge on the panel"¦ I'll let the pictures do the rest of the talking:

Thats the lot- happy new year (in advance) to everyone! :groupwave:

P.S. Can someone realign the AFCAD's at Thames, Coromandel, Whitianga and Pauanui for the new photomesh? All the old ones are a little bit misplaced with the new release...?

Yeah it's a lovely little sport plane isn't it?
And tempting to try a little skywriting (per your 2nd to last)!
I'm amazed by the features which I thought would be FSX-only - the glass, latency, even the way the tailwheel is sprung.
Brilliant freeware effort.

I think Snowman has said he will modify his AFCADs to suit the new photoreal.

Ausome pics Andrew,
This plane is great, beats any freeware or payware GA craft ive had hands down!
One thing I noticed while flying her round Timaru on a nice sunset flight was that the ASI is in KPH, takes a bit of geting used to ^_^

Yep its stunning all right - just downloaded it and had a quick flight - I was sceptical it was a freeware equivalent to the Realair SF-260 it is REALLY that good (or darn close) -- nice shots Andrew
