What car do you Drive?

Well I'm 16 (as of yesterday ) so I just steal my parents cars

Dad has a 2000 Mercedes ML 270 CDI identical to this one:


After just selling his 2004 Holden Adventra V8 like this, but silver:


Mum has a 2005 Fiat Stilo Abarth like this one:


Although she has just ordered a Brand New 2008 Skoda Octavia RS Diesel Wagon like this one to replace the Fiat, but in (you guessed it) Silver.


I am saving up for a Mini 1275 GT like this, but I don't have it yet

Love the Skoda Octavia RS Was a Skoda-holic myself for a long time... 2x S110L's and 4x 120L's (thats the old rear engined variety for those of you under 20 lol) Now its all Italian for me, currently driving an Alfa Romeo 33 16v QV-S, just sold my 33 series 2 to the flatmate who's freshly rebuilt her

Hey Italian over German any day.. The Skoda may be fast, but there's no 'flair' in the engine sound, just the rattle of the diesel and the predominant hiss of the Turbo.. That Fiat's like sex to your ears (except maybe not as painful )

My mate has an Alfa 33 with a barely legal exhaust on it- You can hear it crackle from miles off

Haha yeah they snap crackle and pop like crazy on over-run! Sadly the 16v's are all injected, so not quite the same induction roar and barely any crackle How much are you asking for the Stilo? Searching around for prospective new Wife-mobiles since her Golf is getting a bit tired (170km a day return trip to work/uni for her)

Suzuki SJ50, 50cc 2-stroke. Had a go on one today, will be awesome for hooning round the place, I'll probably end up going out exploring all the little roads around the place some afternoons.

Thought I would add my ride to this thread, My every day car is a Honda Oddy (people mover) but on fine sunny days I bring out the big guns, a 1974 Corvette Stingray (with the price of gas, I can usually be found sitting in the drivers seat...in the garage)

Mum says she'd be happy with $19,000. It's a rare 5spd Manual one, mum's been the only owner(bought it as a demo) and it's done about 40,000kms and a 2005 model. (We have a holiday place in the Wairarapa which we go to most weekends hence high-ish kays ) She's a beast. Had some fun trips over the Rimutakas in it
If she enjoys driving the Fiat should make it a hell of a lot of fun!

Wow nice vehicles here - I wont bother posting pictures of my heaps.

One is a very unreliable Citroen ZX Volcane (I will NEVER buy french again - or Italian (FIAT - Fix It Again Tony) again) and a very reliable and high milegae Accord.

Next purchase a Toyota Previa for the wife and family and hopefully (finances permitting) a Ford Focus ST170 (or similar) for me and work.

VAC, the Mazda's a bloody nice car to drive. It's the 2.3litre Sports model with 5 speed auto and tiptronic. I've spend a fair bit of time between Tauranga / Gisborne / Napier recently and the 50 odd k's of the Waioeka Gorge has been heaven, shifting between 2 and 3rd (second will take it to about 110km/h at 6500 rpm so just stay in second and use the engine to brake on corners), it sticks to the road like glue in manual mode keeping the revs between 5000 - 6000 rpm. If you want to take it easy it cruises at 100km/h with no effort, engine's quiet and a smooth ride.
