Auckland to London and back

[Rebound]

Hey guys im new here, thought i'd upload a few of my photos from the air and around when flying from Auckland to Heathrow and back with Emirates.
I was lucky enough to fly on a couple of different routes and on different aircraft including the 777-300 and 777-300ER, and also the Airbus A340-500.

Nice photos Rebound, thanks for sharing.

On the tarmac at Auckland, the first shot there looks a lot like a 777 rather than a 767, but the one below it is definitely a 767.

Oops my bad, yeah maybe i got confused it was end of november and i did remember seeing a 767 at some point, must of been the 2nd shot as you said.

I took heaps of shots in the air, the high res shots are really nice but i'll save you all the bandwidth Being on the ground at Dubai was really cool as their were soooooooo many planes, and as their was fog delaying the flights they were also queuing up to take off when they finally could.

Awesome shots, reminds me of my recent trip to Europe, but all the flights were on an old Malaysian 777-200 and we only stopped in KL. Still a great trip though

My trip had several stops, firstly Auckland to Brisbane where i had about an hour to kill before boarding, then onto Singapore and Dubai, and finally onto London Heathrow. My Return flight was via Dubai and Melbourne before finally reaching Auckland. The stops are really short usually and i had to rush to my next flight when arriving at Dubai but i still got to see a tiny bit of the airport in fast forward

Oh ok, you probably wouldn't have flown over Afghanistan or Iraq then- it was surreal screaming along at 35,000 feet in total comfort watching Little Britain on my PTV and glancing down at where thousands of people were enduring suffering at that moment. We could see Kandahar in the distance with the occasional flash of light- I looked on the news page and it said fighting had erupted in Kandahar not long before. That sent a chill down my spine..

Oh and then the thunderstorms over India! Made you feel so small and insignificant.

I saw some cool thunderstorms coming into dubai, but it was pretty nice weather from what i could tell over my entire flight journey, and very little turbulence

We had perfect weather over Oz, you really appreciate how big and red it is .

Crickey It was ACTUALLY wet in Dubai ! I bet it was still like ten thousand degrees though... Thanks for sharing

EK433 actually goes via Brisbane not Sydney

I agree with trolly, I love viewing these. Hope you had a fantastic time flying emirates! I try to fly them whenever I can across the Tasman.

I did that! It was awesome, Kandahar was just a few specs of light in an enormous black area.
