I had an airline at AM recently, but somebody else decided that competition and price-slashing would be a great idea. So now I'm 4 million Euros in debt, and I honestly can't be bothered trying to save my airline.

I might email them and ask for a reset on my thing so I can try again, but then I don't know if I can be bothered doing that either.

It's easier to just restart at the game reset (In a couple of weeks) and start somewhere with little competition (like Africa)

I will be next round, and also we are going to aim to have only one person per continent, maybe 2 max as otherwise you just compete with each other (as is happening with us from DFW).
We now have an alliance forum at http://kiwialliance.hopto.org./phpBB3/ and we'd like all our alliance members to join up as aircraft deals and news etc are posted there. For next round you will also need to apply there to join Kiwi Alliance.

KFB if I can give you a tip, don't just fly from your base to big centres, especially at the beginning of the round, get your B99 (or whatever we begin with) and fly to EVERY 50,000 airport in range at 1x freq. I had a B99 earning nearly 400,000 a day this way. Don't fly to 100,000 airports until you get a/c above 50 seats. A good way to see the airports with the most pax for your money is to add sort=pxd& to the address in your gate purchase/continent page. eg
http://www.airlinemogul.com/airlinemogul/g...amp;continent=7 for Australasia.

Next reset I will be trying to make a better go of it. My losses this round were partly because I started late into the round, and also because I began to face some extremely fierce competition.

Then again, next round will be in school time, so I won't have as much to run the airline and make sure it has 100% LF and the highest DOP possible.

Cheers

I havn't decided if I'll start in the next round. School is getting more intense until the exams in June.

Well I have ended up with (I was a late starter)

3 B-99
13 F-28-100 (yes a big F-28 fan as well)
10 737-200 (want more but no s/h ones available anymore)

DOP: €4,583,597
Airline Cash: €47,509,097
Airline Value: €683,700,825
Average Loadfactor: 96.27%

I see someone has bought 15,000 EMB-110 right towards the end! - imagine trying to place them all! - Somebody else bought over 1000 Turbo Fletchers haha - which makes it one of the most popular airliners.

Edit: actually this is what it looked like just before reset - managed to get up to 99.9% LF with some price cutting

DOP: €4,790,547
Airline Cash: €47,116,228
Airline Value: €683,307,956
Average Loadfactor: 99.91%
Date: 24 Dec 1974

Not a bad effort Naki!
Reset in 8 mins! I bought lots of F-28's so I was the airline with the highest number at games end :P
This round will be 3 years while they sort out some issues. They say we will start with a bigger aircraft, I'd almost bet money that it will be a BAe 146.
Kiwi Alliance will be back in action for those that want to join!

Excellent.

I think I may try again this round, and I will probably stay in New Zealand too >nzflag< , just to see if I can make a better go of it this time.
Hopefully I'll be able to! :plane:

Cheers

You'll never succeed in NZ. Start in Oz, then open a NZ base later on if you have to. Otherwise you won't make much money at all.

Australasia is the slowest market for Pax, the best airline last round was only about $20 billion. You should be beating me :P
I have a DOP of €374,777
