Photoreal German Scenery

An area to discuss scenery addons for virtual NZ

Can't find the non-NZ thread, so admin please move this to the appropriate spot, thanks.
This is an interesting little scenery: Esslingen-Jaegerhaus glider airfield near Stuttgart

The airfield is depicted with 0.5m/pixel high-definition background images, whereas the immediate surroundings are covered with aerial photo textures and landclass in the default 4.75m/pixel resolution.
(Remember this is for FS9)

Seasons are modelled:

Author Mathias Elsaesser also has a sense of whimsy: the field is shared with RC folk, and here they are

See the RL field here
Very nicely presented scenery, photoreal environs, hi-res detail on the strip, just enough furniture for interest.
No frame rate hit, and I bet you'd recognize every bit of it if you were familiar with the area.

Ah he's a sharp one, young "Wingman"...
First one to tell us where we've seen him, gets a Medal.
No peeking now...

Yep, Auckland it is! Looks like a really nice scenery, the high-res photoreal on the airfield really makes the difference.
