Excellent shot

I like the lighting and I also like the colours of the sky. The angle's a tny bit obtuse, but very well done, and I would go as far as to say that it was the best so far :wink2: .

Cheers

I just find it strange that nearly everyone has done a 1900 or even a 1900D. VA has/has had:
DH Heron
DC-3
Cessna 402
Cessna 406
Cessna 182 & 182T
Beech 1900 B/C/D
Dash 8-100.
Also there's nothing really saying that you can't make/use a fictional livery (Dan's 737-300) although it may be bending the rules a bit.

I'll be voting for a unique shot.

Hmm you do make a good point but I think that the reason we all seem to be picking the 1900 is be cause:
A) We actually have a 1900 in the sim
B) It is the most known Vincent aircraft (e.g we know where it lives/is based etc)
C) We like the look of it (on the off chance :P )

But as I say it is a fair point

Yeah, I read an article about that.
Hey VAC, is your dad a whole owner or does he only own the N.Z. buisness?

Isn't it evident?? Boeing are my favourite aircraft.

P.S. that's is my real birthday but I wish to keep my real age secret to keep you all pondering.

Yes and No. :P
Darwin, they fly a scheduled service to Groote Eylandt and on to Cairns, and also a hell of a lot of mining work. A J41 or two is going to be based there soon.

Im surprised to see all this talk about it and hardly any screenshots ,this is the biggest prize in the history of NZFF so less chat and more screenshots guys ..
time is running out quick and you'll be kicking yourselfs if you lost the only chance you have to make this trip down to Wanaka 2008

1. it doesnt take long to take a screenshot and crop it ..
2. anything will do as long as it has something to do with Vincent ..
3. hurry up
4. start a new topic if you would like to chat about the daily uses of Vincent aviation or in general gas bag plz

Yes! That's what I'm talking about! Even though it's a non existent aircraft it's still unique!

You're Right it is very good, Well done! Only thing is the mountains look slightly odd, but that can often be hard to fix in FS I was finding the same thing with my shot, that its hard to get a nice realistic looking background.

But again, Well done! nice shot!

Vincent Aviation Dash 8-100 on route

My entry is pictured from 18,000ft on route from Auckland to Nelson. This is ZK-VAC operating as cover for an Air Nelson flight, NZ8369, that departs Auckland at 7.25pm. Unfortunately I was hoping for better weather on route to give the passengers a better view of the mountain, but Mt Taranaki always finds a way to be majestic. >nzflag<
Thanks V.A.C and Vincent Aviation for what must be the best screenshot competition prize ever!
