A press release on the Air Force website...

Royal New Zealand Air Force wrote:The Royal New Zealand Air Force (RNZAF) Open Day and Air Show at Ohakea on Sunday 16 March will be free to those people who had bought tickets to the Hamilton Airshow, scheduled for this weekend.

Well that is nice of them,sadly ive got family to pick up from the airport in auckland that week ,so no go for me unless they want to fly me down aswell... :P

Hopefully Auckland is fogged in and all international flights will be diverted to Ohakea for the morning again.





Would sure add some extra entertainment for the audience seeing a A340 touching down in front of the crowdline!

EDIT: Actually, forget the fog, I want nice clear views out the DC3 on the way down there!
