NZDN_APP? Its a procedual control tower - no such thing as approach.. 122.4 I think youll find is the standby frequency used in situations whereby 120.7 becomes U/S or when Surface movement control and Aerodrome control get split between controllers (very uncommon).

Yes, you're absolutely right. I didn't have much to do with actually organising the event, but I believe the Event Co-Ordinator got this information from here, which incorrectly states that there is an Approach controller (whereas you as you are correct in saying it is just a procedural tower controller). I pointed this out, but we decided to station an Approach controller also to deal with the greatly increased traffic flow
