Warbirds Over Wanaka First photos from Friday

Back from the practice afternoon (Friday) for Warbirds Over Wanaka. Quite a wind blowing, so holding the camera steady was a bit of problem (no doubt landing the aircraft was harder!!). All morning the Catalina was doing 'touch and goes' (or should it be 'splash and goes'?) in Lake Wanaka, accompanied by a DC3. Anyway, a few photos, hot from the camera:-

Yeah well with pics like these coming through, the pain will be eased somewhat.
Thanks for posting HT, any chance of a square side-on shot of the P-40 I feel a quick paint coming on...
