First Photoreal

The official Forum for the GNZLAP and Charl's other NZ AI addons

One of the great things about this hobby is the breadth of Stuff you Can Do.
Wandering about NZNE I came across this Skyhawk:

and idly snapped the side view.
Downloading the photos later I thought Why Not? and dropped the photo onto an HTAI Cessna.
The CAA Register shows it to be a Hopper Developments aircraft, so a flightplan to Pauanui and Whitianga Waterways didn't seem too unreasonable.
Voila! GNZLAP Aircraft #2123 flies the virtual North Shore skies!

All in the same day...as real as it gets!

Thanks but it doesn't bear close inspection - it's actually quite hard to make photoreal work, around the edges you run out of photograph and have to fudge it.

Oh you really should find the 15 bucks, it buys you the other half of GNZLAP, sure, but it gives you decent GA planes all over the world too.
Very good investment.
