Seen this at a few forums and it seems like a good idea! You can post any pictures you like- Lets try and stay away from Aviation related for now.

Along with your shot, please post your Camera and Settings you used to take the shot.

here is a random shot from Auckland Zoo, i didn't know Chickens are endangered!!!!

Took on a Fujifilm S3000, 10x optical zoom and 6MP Camera, no longer working, auto focus settings
In the ongoing battle between objects made of aluminum going hundreds of miles per hour and the ground going zero miles per hour, the ground has yet to lose.

Nope, but i thought it was funny, all these chickens running freely around AKL Zoo, i guess if they got in to the tiger or lion enclosures then they would be very endangered!!! :P and it would give the bug cats something alive to chase!!

Haha your not an Arsonists, just a Pyromaniac :P

That fire shot is very very cool

I just love the Panasonics Manual Settings, but TBH the cameras suck at high ISO's, what we often use for Aviation Photography :(

Thats why, IM looking at getting the 350D! mabye even the 400D if I have the moooola..

Awesome fire shot Scott!

I know it was Ben's idea to stay away from aviation related subjects in this thread, but when I was about to leave Ardmore this afternoon, the moon was really standing out in the sky and I just had to get a piccy of it:

All good- if you are in Auckland tonight, have a look at the moon now- it looks amazing!

Your rabbit photo reminds me of 'Oolong the Rabbit', some random Japanese website my mate found a few years back in high school... very random

I might add a couple myself. These are scanned from photos I took myself on holiday, so unfortunately not as sharp as digital cameras on the net..

'Paris' hotel and casino, Las Vegas, USA

This is a church/ temple in St George, Utah, USA

Camera- Nikon F55 with 28-80mm lens, on a tripod, can't remember the shutter settings etc

Taken with our old Olympus C-760, with some minor editing on Photoshop (Just playing around with stuff). Taken last weekend at our Wairarapa place.

Winter is definitely here:

Hey VAC, never thought I'd see the day...wallpaper of a truck on my computer
Stunning pictures.
I could deliver a little critique here, on that first photo:
How framing to include the eaves gives depth, and the empty washline gives atmosphere, the jagged lines of the tree a focus for the many diagonals...
- but I won't, you should spend the time looking at the picture!

Just two off my Phone-
First one is using the 'Panorama' feature it has up at the Prison Farm walking the dogs this afternoon. Wellington City is visible to the left centre.

Second is a Sepia shot of a sunset in Fiji.

Enjoy biggrin.gif
