They're all pretty utilitarian, agplanes, these are some possibles for this month's screenshot competition:

See, it has to have an element of Danger

Nice shots Charl - you are risking it a bit going under the power lines aren't you?

Ahh the Agcat - downloaded it a few days ago - just need to install it to see what its like.

Very, very nice Charl- love the trails in the second shot down.

Question one: where can that mention spraying effect be downloaded?
Question two: link to that aircraft (the agcat?) please!

I used to work with a guy who used to do a bit of crop dusting in Aussie....he showed me an awesome video of footage from Aussie and the States.....basically the wheels of the a/c were 10 feet above the crops doing over 100 kts id say, the end of the run went under power lines and then they pulled it back up and around and started going the other way to finish between trees!...frickin crazy. It was different to the NZ stuff though- over there the fields are huge and flat....

The Agcat is pretty good - yea the sound is a bit tinny. But good VC, and 2d panel and nice exterior - if Deanes Fletchers didnt exist I'd say this is one the best ag aircraft out there - tricky handling on ground and in air - feels like a sports car compared to the Fletcher. For some reason the "I" button has to held down to keep the spray effect on. A candidate for a NZ scheme?

One from the stable of "Piglet's Peculiar Planes": PZL M-18A Dromader.
I found a photoreal paint of it, and, umm, slightly modified it for local conditions.
Both ZK-SPR and ZK-FOG reside only in my imagination at this time.

Always, an early start:

And Back for a Fill Up:

A/C by Tim Conrad, over Robin's Marlborough.
Sublime.

Hey

Great repaints Charl. Are you going to be uploading them to avsim or flightsim.com??

Since 'sublime' has already been used, I'll add 'freaky good.' It's amazing what a bit of dirt (and the odd Tui ad) adds to the sim.
These fall into the 'squint and they're real' category, which is my favourite category.

Thanks for comments, all.
I love doing this stuff...you have a sort of vague idea, go get a plane, fiddle a bit, drop it into scenery, sometimes it comes together.
Photoreal "repaints" do give a dimension you cannot get by hand painting, and I'm headed more and more in that direction.
If you have a good base model...as Ian said: 18K + 18k... gets you all those carrots.
As to the paints, well...I plagiarised them, so there won't be an upload I'm afraid.
I thoroughly enjoyed generating the screenshots though, and am secretly delighted with my custom red spark plug leads!.

Just a quick question- how did you manage to get the spray to flow in thin streams out the back of your PZL rather than the thick horizontal lines that I seem to be getting:

Pretty much as described, make sure you have the right effects file...
Frame rate may be an issue too - try lower scenery/weather settings to see.
