Looks pretty good - I had some Malta scenery at one point and it was a great port of call when cruising the Med.

Aerosoft's "Islands of Malta" and "Balearic Islands and Gibraltar" , (both for FS9), are very well worth the few $$ if you like cruising around that area.............
Also their "Islands of Madeira", and "Canary Islands" (iles canaries) good to fly into as well................

I got the Malta V1.0 which is really good.

Does anyone have the Mach-1 sceeries from avsim. They are slightly on the basic side but are really good IMO and are really small downloads:

Isn't it evident?? Boeing are my favourite aircraft.

P.S. that's is my real birthday but I wish to keep my real age secret to keep you all pondering.

Yup.
The idea behind this thread was to showcase really exceptional sceneries outside NZ, not just sceneries outside NZ.
Mach 1 does not fall into that category.

Just to finish the thought started earlier with a flight ending in Budapest...
It started in Zurich, where I was waiting for the next Beta release of FreeZ (Now Version 0.6).
This is freeware as good as it gets:

Here's a good way to test a scenery - with a large 'Bus:

Zurich is a busy place, but the A380 slotted in quite easily

No sooner had we pushed back, than the Koreans arrived to take up the slot.
AES lives here too, free as long as you're happy to have banner ads on the jetways.
I see it as a plus!

Important people transit through Zurich too. Just look who we found, on his way to Tel Aviv to, um, do some more Stuff:

George Dubya was heard to sputter over his coffee: "Whaddya MEAN, it's bigger than ours??"
Up and awaay, to arrive in Hungary as told above, miraculously transformed into a 757.

Heartily recommend this freeware scenery, if this is only Ver 0.6, well...

Great shots again. Funny thing is you were parked at exactly the same gate as our MH 777 when we flew back from Europe last year! Brings back memories! :P

How do I get AES to work with it? From what I remember the base AES pack is free too?

Thanks for comments, all!
VAC, was the airport unbelievably clean and organised? (I've never flown through Zurich in RL). The FS model looks very...sanitised.

Yep, it's an Overland payware model. You know, the one where you have to buy a package of all the airliners ever built (including Boeing), just to get a decent A380

To put it simply.. Yes. :P
The whole of Switzerland was like that. Driving from Italy to Switzerland, the speed limit on the motorway was the same in both countries (130km/h), but in Italy you'd often see people at 200+, and most people sat around 140-160, but we got into Switzerland, and BAM! Everyone's at 130. They sure love their rules/cleanliness/being on time there.

Hey, 'cmon now.. The whole pack is pretty good, and current a/c in the Airbus/Boeing stable and you have a pretty decent model on your hands!
Although the A380 is pretty good :D

Wow Charl, those sort of screenshots make me weak at the knees! I hardly ever fly in continental Europe but I've just become the 5078th person to download freez_v6.0_fs2004.zip from avsim, 8% on my download bar so far :D

Will post screenshots when it is installed, thanks heaps for the heads up!

Unfortunately my FS9 won't start after installing that plus AES, I'll leave it a few days, I guess it's good because now FS isn't a distraction to the study for my 4 NCEA Internals

I installed it but unfortunately my AFCAD and PAI don't work together thus all my planes are at the new terminal. How can I fix this?

Actually, maybe not. When I loaded up at the new Zurich terminal, my framerates were very sluggish, I'm talking single digit FPS- not good enough to fly into/out of the airport, let alone taxi around the apron to take some screenies. I'll try defragging my HDD and see if it makes any difference, but if not, I'll be removing it from my scenery library next time I load up.

I get good FPS but I have to overhaul my AI (had to reinstall every PAI file today as half of them had deleted themselves!)

Spent my afternoon taking an old favourite up for a spin around Glacier Bay v2 (mentioned earlier in the thread), a great way to unwind:

Brilliant scenery, Glacier Bay - Peter Vibe has made an addon to this addon, and a fix, at AVSIM.

The Zurich scenery mentioned above has had another bit added, now v0.61.
There is a "light" version, and a "full" version, which they warn, will lose you about 10fps! :o
They've done some more building:

and a fair bit on the lighting

Plenty of AI to watch at this airport, too
