I was having trouble with display and let FS9 renew .cfg but now I don't get the "Release Brakes" sign.
Any clues what I may have done or how to rectify the problem?. Brakes still work both from joystick and keyboard.

Hi Pato,
I just had a similar problem but with no ATC sound. I think the best option is to just re-install FS9. Thats what i did and it still keeps your scenery and other addons.
Good luck.

Try this first in your FS9 config:
Add the following line to the [SIM] section of the fs9.cfg file:
show_brake_message=0
This is the way to make it stop showing, but try adding that line and changing the number from 0 to 1. Then see what happens.

You might just need to centre the screen on your monitor.Unfortunately that screen is ok. Was worth a look. Thanks.CPU: Intel Core i5 760 @ 2.8GHz. Motherboard: Asus P7P55 LX. That line "show_brake_message=0" does not appear in my .cfg file.CPU: Intel Core i5 760 @ 2.8GHz. Motherboard: Asus P7P55 LX. RAM: Kingston Hyper X 8GB 1600mhz DDR3 Non ECC. SSD: Samsung 250GB. HDD: WD !TB.

Appreciate the suggestions but it didn't work. I guess it is no great loss not having the "brakes and simulation paused' messagesLast edited by Pato on Mon Apr 28, 2008 7:30 pm, edited 1 time in total.CPU: Intel Core i5 760 @ 2.8GHz.
