What's happened. I got a txt from my friend who got stuck in CDG bec ause he was travelling back to NZ through SIN and Singapore reportedly grounded their 777-300ER's thus he had to change to Air France after a lengthy delay. Does anyone have any info on this grounding?

SQ 281 (777-200) was turned around 2 hours out of Changi, reason given to pax was "Lavatory Leak".
They eventually departed to Auckland 6 hours late.
This was an onward connection from CDG, may just have been a knock-on effect that caused further delays.
