What did you fly on these holidays?

A place for 'real world' pilots and aviation enthusiasts to discuss their hobby

Well what did anyone fly on.

I went on ZK-SJC NZWN-NZAA, then ZK-EAJ (I think) NZAA-NZWR on the first Tuesday of the holidays.

I just arrived on flight 459 on ZK-NGH NZAA-NZWN

I will post the videos tomorrow hopefully.

I don't care what anyone says but I liked flying on Air NZ Domestic. NZWN-NZAA was fantastic with just the best cabin crew.
The one today wasn't as good but still fantastic. P.S. the landing was the bumpiest landing I think I have ever incurred.

Isn't it evident?? Boeing are my favourite aircraft.

P.S. that's is my real birthday but I wish to keep my real age secret to keep you all pondering.

I was flying with RW weather out of Welly today, and the turbulence was incredible, right up to FL200!

During the holidays I flew onboard ZK-NCG (B767-319/ER) from Auckland to Rarotonga, then back onboard ZK-OKB (B777-219/ER)

Nothing :(
Although I've just found out from dad that somebody will be keeping a brand-new R44 in our hangar, and instead of paying hangarage fees, he'll give dad an hour or two a week to learn to fly it! Hopefully I'll get some great shots if I get to go too!

well although I didn't have "holidays" I have had the last week or so off and in that time (well a week off from flying, only to do more flying) I flew the Navajo, did a fallas rating in a terrorhawk which was cool (cos I hadnt flown one in a few years) untill it put itself into a spin which was interesting (little deathtraps) and I also flew the 185 and another one a few times one on a formation trip from fox to timaru which was fun, - photos maybe to come.

Back to work flying tomorrow I spose....

No such thing as holidays for me. Done a few hours in INA, a trip to WN and back in EQH and a Nelson, Motueka trip in DOT today.

Flew to Sydney on EK419 777-300ER, from there went to Brisbane on VirginBlue 737-800.
Returned 4 days later to Sydney on a VirginBlue 737-700 and 5 days after that returned to AKL on EK418 777-300ER in business class. Got to use the Sydney Emirates Lounge which was mint and the business cabin was almost empty!

Don't worry I will post although the video doesn't look nearly as bumpy as it was.

Some of you were lucky enough to go overseas these holidays I am quite jealous. But anyway I went on my favourite aircraft so I guess that makes up for it (also getting in the cockpit on the way up and the way back too)
