Heard through the grapevine that Singapore Flying College are planning on setting up in NZ. Apparently Napier is their first choice. Up to 30 aircraft including turbines, 2009 startup.
Good luck to them on getting instructing staff!

Have heard that also but not heard napier. Were looking hard at timaru and wanganui... aparently good coin for the instructors and LOTS of students and aircraft...

haha i was under the impression that it was now down to either tim or wangas. both outta the way, quiet, good wx and good sized.. that was a few weeks ago so maybe further developments since then...
