If the public complain about the noise in the north , Christchurch people are more attuned to such noises those dark week nights in the 70s , these were in the days of the Harvard , we of course would welcome Whooper Choopers :)

I'm looking forward to it.

Love the sound of UH1.

Like a lullaby for me.

Mind you any prop or rotary aircraft is.

Thirded! Ah, such sweet, sweet music! Ain't we so unfortunate, Derek?!

And my mum's a big UH-1 fan....she'll sleep rather well over the next week!

The sound of the UH1 makes the hair on the back of my neck stand up. I guess its the Vietnam connection in that for a lot of guys, that sound meant that you were going home.

The sound of those beating rotors is actually seductive. I must be a weirdo!

Too young for vietnam, but flew in them in the territorials back in the late 80's.

As Keith Quin would say...... ohhh ohhhh ohhh
