Lionheart Super Sale

Discuss aircraft addons and repaints for Flight Simulator here

Bill Lionheart does some fantastic quality work and he's also a nice guy. This is his experiment to see if price point products shift more copies, so buy up!!

Operation valkerie is a package of many different aircraft, scenery, AI and missions and it's all top stuff. The Turbo Viking package is recommended, it was good value at full price.

I don't have the Trinidad package but the viking has much more character for me. The Trinidad package comes with the excellent Simflyer avionics however. Neither are too easy on the frames unfortunately - the Viking being the newer release and having more model detail and the Trinidad with the avionics, they're meant to perform the same - I lose about 4-5FPS with the Viking on my setup which isn't much. My PC is pretty cr@p though...

I wish I could give a quick review but 99% of the time I am getting CTDs when I choose the Viking - I await help from the developer.

How did Operation Valkyrie go Kahu?

It appears it wasnt the a/c that was causing my problem but a memory problem with my PC as I it started CTDing on other a/c as well - done a defrag, cleaned up the disk, got rid of some unwanted a/c, deleted some files and everything seems to be sweet. Short report on Viking to come next week now as too busy.

I take my last comments back - still having issues with CTDs with the Viking but no longer with the other aircraft. Bill Ortis has being very helpful and has offered me a refund - Ill keep experimenting over the weekend and see if I can cure it.

I have been using Operation Valkyrie for the last couple of days. So far I have been very impressed there is quite a lot to this program with 65 missions. The textures are very crisp and clear and the planes are very detailed. Will do a proper review soon and post screen shots
