I've seen it, it's rather interesting, as they try 3 scenarios.

First without any help what so ever - control test
2nd With ATC help
3rd using A/P

good episode though, one of the better recent ones. But jeez - can't go by a mythbuster thread without saying that kari is hot.
When asked what I have contributed to on this earth my reply will be my daugther

Yeah text doesn't show humour very well. I was joking, but never mind.

Good Episode.

In a nutshell Jamie & Adam each try it cold, no briefing no experience and an airbus sim as well by the look. They both completely arsed it.

Next time around they are talked down by a controller with flying experience and both nailed the landing - manually/visually no navaids. Jamies was especially sweet. Afterwards they were briefly shown how to do it using the autopilot.

Highlight of the episode - PAC 750XL used for the "Point Break" skydiving myths, go Kiwi! http://www.airport-data.com/aircraft/photo/048357.html

Other highlight Kari Byron

If you are like me and don't have Sky, you can watch the landing on youtube, just search "mythbusters land plane". It seems to be Episode 94 from my research, but seems no one has uploaded the complete episode to youtube at this stage :(

I love mythbusters.
Definitely my kind of program (especially cause of the science factor)

There are some real goodies

Isn't it evident?? Boeing are my favourite aircraft.

P.S. that's is my real birthday but I wish to keep my real age secret to keep you all pondering.

The people you know do they fly big commercial jets or little cessnas? because just a bit different and all the planes are different.

watched it a couple of weeks ago here in OZ, as the ATC said, now days with all the automation built in, you would be able to be told what buttons to press and the plane would almost do it all it's self. i did enjoy it though, that sky diver was moving though, man the speed he went past!!! :o
In the ongoing battle between objects made of aluminum going hundreds of miles per hour and the ground going zero miles per hour, the ground has yet to lose.

I would have liked to have seen this, but our Sky's been down for about a week (our satellite dish is visibly misaligned).
Aside from illegal means, I'd like to get this online - any ideas?
I will try looking.

Cheers
