This is at Hamilton Aviation's facility, they have a whole load of ex-Delta 732s which were literally the last of the -200s made, in 1986. We all know of a certain prospective customer.. :D
They refurbish the 732s, with new interior/paint. The Mexican Air Force example shows the finished product. There are also a few other planes Dad saw, including a really nice MD-80 and some kind of re-engined modified 727 which is supposed to be much more fuel efficient, but unfortunately there aren't many places left who maintain them, so maintenance would be a bit hard.

More from Hamilton Aerospace's yard soon. I'm off out for dinner (yay! :P )

Comprehensive shopping list there!
Jeepers 3+2 is already a bit on the lean side, but 3+3 :o
You have to hope that's not a very long flight, and not straight after dinner either...

nice shots, speaking of which, we had a Vincent aviation Cessna in at work the other day, on it's way back to Darwin, nice guy to talk too, was explaining how short of pilots they are, plenty of work, but no pilots, sorry i didn't get a pick of it
In the ongoing battle between objects made of aluminum going hundreds of miles per hour and the ground going zero miles per hour, the ground has yet to lose.

I'm enjoying them, and a few others seem to be as well.

Isn't it evident?? Boeing are my favourite aircraft.

P.S. that's is my real birthday but I wish to keep my real age secret to keep you all pondering.

Nope. He'd like one though from what he's said.

That'd be cool having an MD-80 in NZ.

If I started an airline, I might consider it for NZ (as far as I know, they can take-off fro NZWN)

Yeah that would be nice they seem to be popular in the states as they can hold a few people and have got a good range plus their strips are some what longer than our's.PS i thought you would have gone for a 737
