Those are just the crappy red ones, they can't do anywhere near as much damage as the green $350 ones which are the subject of the 'attacks' most of the time.

Yes, those $350 ones are amazing, I saw one of those at an observatory once, they use them to point out stars because you can see the beam. I would have thought this would make it quite easy to find out where the beam is coming from.

Yeah we were up at the Mt Vic lookout in Wellington one clear night, some guy had one and he was shining it over to a hillside in Karori (About 3-4kms) and it showed up clear as day, he even shone it over to Naguranga Gorge (ABout 7-10kms) and it was still showing no signs of fading. The spot on the hill over there was like 10m in diameter laugh.gif

Yeah they are cool as one's.
I was at an airshow onece (no i was not shining it at a planes) and I got one that came in a pen and I was shinig it at the ground a good
2-300 yards away at the ground people look at it an are like WTH.
Also a guy I know was working in Israil an he'd shine one down at people on the ground from way up this big tall building the people would think
it's a sniper rifle and they would run like the wind.

Yeah i suppose that could be kinda funny ,but thats where it all starts doesnt it ?,now lets bring down a plane and kill people that are heading home to there familys ,or someone shines it on your plane and you never make it home to the life you had .... ohh and theres some guy sitting there on a mountain laughing his head of at you and what he thinks is funny before you die and burst into flames ... angry.gif

How many times do ppls have to be told something ,dont speed ,dont shine lazers at Aircraft ,do not murder people ,get up if all the seats are full for old people ?? i mean come on what are we teaching at schools and in our homes anyway...how to be a dumbass 101... angry.gif

they are a fun to use but can turn into a weapon for people who are not responsible for there actions and Users should have a firearms license
its not like people fire guns at planes !
