Where do you get the inspiration for these masterpieces Ian? Do you pause flight sim then sketch what you see on the screen, or download photos from Airliners.net to recreate on paper, or do you just have a limitless imagination and crazy-good art skills? tongue.gif

Ian you definitely missed your calling - not too late though, I hear comics are making a comeback, and retro is it!

you're not tracing are you?

If not (probably) then well done.
I may try with some 737's (if I ever get free time and am not lazing around)

Isn't it evident?? Boeing are my favourite aircraft.

P.S. that's is my real birthday but I wish to keep my real age secret to keep you all pondering.

ohmy.gif

I'll also suggest selling them.
Some guy my uncle knew, Tim someone, did something similar with car pictures. He sold them on TradeMe and by going into stores and stuff and he made a mint.
I'd be quite interested in buying one and I'm sure lots of other people would too.

Great stuff by the way. Some awesome art here.

d'ya do graphics or art at school?
You should have.

I'll see if I can find a picture of a Dash-8 "500" (I think I called it) that I drew when I was 11 years old. (I'll see if I can find any other, every one else have a try!)

I'm cr@p at drawing so I won't try tongue.gif

Ian, one word: Wow. They're absolutely amazing. You seriously should chuck one or two up on Trademe. If you can make $50-100 out of it, why not?

Okay. Did this tonight during Outrages fortune:
It's a photo thus it isn't an entirely accurate rendition of my picture (a bit skewed) I need to get a proper scan

can you guess what and where?
