July Screenshot Competition

Post and comment on screen captures from the beautiful game here. Home of the monthly screenshot competition

Postby Alex » Tue Jul 01, 2008 6:24 pm

This month Flight1 are sponsoring our screenshot competition. This means that the person who wins with the best screenshot this month will receive any Flight1 payware product they want, these can be viewed at www.flight1.com ... Now that's an incentive for you all to enter!

This is the 26th monthly screenshot competition, which is free to enter for all the members of NZFF.

This month's rules are as follows:

1) The screenshot must be from a Flight Simulator program (FS2004, FSX, X-Plane, etc), and the position of the shot must be somewhere over New Zealand territory.

2) The image size must be as close as possible to 984 pixels wide- read the uploading screenshot guide to find out how to re-size your shot. Please keep a high resolution version saved on your computer; the admin may request it from you at the end of the month to convert into a site banner!

3) Also remember, try and make your shot suitable for a thin rectangular banner. Think about that when positioning your aircraft and choosing camera angles etc. (and please don't include any text on the image either)

4) Images can be submitted from July 1st 2008 to July 31st 2008, with only one entry per member. You can change your submission if you want, just delete the old one and replace it with a new one (by using the edit button, at the bottom of your post. Please don't post saying you have edited your original entry, as this creates unnecessary clutter).

5) On July 31st, a poll will open and run for a few days to decide who has the best image, then the winner will have a cropped version of their image appear in the NZFF banner as well as receiving the Flight1 prize!

6) Editing is allowed, if you know how to do it. The more stunning your shots look the better!

7) This month's theme is 'A day in the life of...'- the rest is up to you!

All the best to everyone, lets see lots of entries guys! May the best screenshot win!

Footnote: It is general practice that the winner of the month before do not enter the competition.

Yer the theme's a goodie but a tricky one too.
I looked at this a while ago and I couldn't think of anything to do in one screenshot.
I think Alex is running them until Andrew gets back from overseas.

Yup, Level-D is a Flight 1 "Wrapped" product. If you know what I mean (if you have ever bought a Flight-1 Product before)
