Wow nice shots (and scenery - which I am totally familar with). The R44 looks very good too - how do you rate it Mike? If I was to get myself a payware chopper I think it would be this one - although choppers dont go too well in FS 2004.

With updates ,this chopper is a good 8/10 plus it does ok Auto rotations ,still im still not happy with everything about helicopters in fs as ive had four realworld pilots testing out my sim lately and they have said good and bad to alot of the top payware choppers i have so im refining the dynamics slowly when i have time to suit there needs ...FSX is no doubt better for this than any FS9 chopper..

this is some parts of details they have mentioned
QUOTE
What we need is a model that has following aerodynamic properties;

1/ Autorotation. When , if throttle is closed, Rotor RPM needle and Engine RPM ( N2 ) split.
2/ Automatic increase in Rotor and Engine RPM when 'G' is increased in tight turn or flare.
3/ Increased yaw with power application. About 180 degrees of turn when torgue increased from say 60 to 80 %
4/ Increased flap back and flap fwd. So that when collective ( power ) is decreased from say 60 to 30 % nose drops to 30 degrees down.[/quote]

now to work that all out at some stage ,learning is a everyday event

HHmmmm a blackhawk payware ,lol well having not flown the blackhawk but many other alpha choppers ,the R44 will most likely have more paint jobs including a NZ one like above also it has variations water /skid ,really nice to cruz in and land

I guess it comes down to what you like and i like Helicopters so i get them all mostly in one day or another ,things i havent got would be Nemeth CH53 to big for me and my mate tells me it is VC heavy on flps "Sorry Ian it wont make it nicely on that platform ether " maybe just the back wheels or a belly landing if you cant keep those rotor blades away from that icon kiwifruit
anyway the Justflight R44 and Timmos new scenery go together like milk and cookies mmmhhh yum ..

You kids were up late last night!....get to bed! haha

Yep the scenery isnt perfect by any means....I only had one reference photo of the Kiwifruit country visitor centre to work off and they were all taken near the end of the day (so the colours are all screwy as you can see) but I like making these little ones for exploring with a chopper. There are a couple of small helipads up at the family bach which I'm keen to model....they will really test ya- room for a chopper with a few metres each side of the blades.

Ian- Give it a go in the CH53.....It is flightSIM after all...the fun is in the trying!

go the helipads!! some day hopefully they will take over the world and be everywhere!!
Mike, how does just flights 44 compare to the default 22? You reckon its woth the 40 bucks?

Blackhawk can wait I prefer the smaller choppers. Wish someone would make a good bk.

edit: it cant be to bad on frames either can it?

Honestly i cant remember flying the default R22 in FSX ,i think its worth the money but that would be something of preference..ill try out the R22 and R44 in the same flight and let you know how it goes and what i think ,heavy on flps well i never notice but could be on some systems i guess as the detail is high ,ill do some tests after work if i get around to it ...
New BK 117 oh yes plz but im pretty happy with the Icaro one even as a beta

There are some photos of his choppers under screenshots. He is also making a BO 105 and A 109 Grand.
