The Cessna 400 demonstrator is due to be arriving in the country today, and will be doing the rounds showing itself off, so keep your eyes peeled.

The 400 name came from the Columbia 400 whom made the plane before taken over by Cessna. (Columbia went broke) .....and the Columbia 400 had its roots back to the Lancair Columbia which was a home build ...and there was a pressurised version of the homebuilt (and a turboprop) - but yes Cessna 400 conjures up images of Cessna 402s, 421s etc It is a fast little machine and completely different to any other Cessna - closest competitor would be the Cirrus SR22 Turbo

Saw it doing a few circuits out at Ardmore today, appears to have a pretty impressive rate of climb.
