NZPP to NZWN

Got sick of flying in the real world weather with rain, clouds etc. Dialed up a fantastic summers day (yeah right - Wellington but you can always dream) and flew from NZPP to NZWN as I haven't really explored the scenery around here yet (even though I have had Robins Wellington for a while now - I usually fly into Wellington from Marlborough).

I was blown away by the GNZLAP AI at NZPP (GMT 1900) & the photo real scenery that this area offers with RealNZ Welly.
I also like the autogen houses around NZPP - pity the whole country isnt populated like this.

I chased this red & blue 152 Aerobat all the way to Wellington - I should of passed him but I took the scenic route

I just had to get a photo opportunity in here - a fine line up of Cessna 152s, 172s and a 182

Kapiti Island

The Hutt Valley in the distance

The Hutt River

I think this is Days Bay - nothing beats a ferry ride from Wellington across the harbour to Days Bay on a nice summers day

Yeah, Good stuff.

Looks like one of those flights when you had to be out of the plane more than in to capture the shots...... biggrin.gif

Thanks guys - another boo boo - of course thats not Kapiti - I did have a shot of it but I must of deleted it and got confused - I was actually looking at the chunk of land in the distance thinking that was my shot of Kapiti - which is course the South Island - well thats my excuse anyway.

..and yes I must do some more IFR flights but at the moment just fed up with not seeing the great scenery we hae around here.

Yep Bazza - was hanging from the wingtip and wheel pants for most of the flight taking photos.

Very nice clapping.gif Naki.
I'm a bit of a fan when it comes to simming in Wellington.

Nice shots Naki.
Those houses are pretty real looking.
It seems the RealNZ scenery is definitely worth it - every shot you see that has the RNZ scenery looks really good.

None taken smile.gif I was just showing off what can be achieved with good AI and scenery add ons - not forgetting the Zinertech water features and the Flight 1 172
