You always get a few who can't resist the temptation of crashing into objects laugh.gif
I have been asked several times "can you crash a plane into ...on flight simulator"

Yes, and it's easy to see why people like that get tired of it so quickly- crashes in FS are not that spectacular...

No they're not that great.
One area where FS's realism really drops the ball winkyy.gif
That's not what FS is for anyway, it's called Flight Simulator not Crash Simulator.

That's exactly what I say to them. I think that if the crashes were spectacular it could become too much like a game.

Yep bit silly in my opinion.
I'm sure we've all crashed something in FS once either by accident or just to see what would happen or for fun, but like I said - that's not what it's for.
FS is a game to a certain extent, but not in the way that something like the Burnout series or Gran Turismo or whatever is. It's primarily a simulator and it's not really designed for crashes.
If you want crashes then I would look further afield than Flight Simulator.
