Wise words at work

Hi Guys, i thought i would share a paragraph/verse that we have on the office at work;

"it is impossible to measure the results of fuelling aircraft safetly. No one can count the fires that never start or the engine failures and forced landings that never take place. it sums up our job really, you go home knowing that you have done a good job. anyone else have these sort of words at their work? would love to hear them

I don't have a job but I know a bit of one:

Not really related on the surface but it could still be equally applied to crew resource management. This one comes up in a lot of admin areas:

"Lack of planning on your part does not constitute an emergency on mine". Next time you get handed a "ToDo ASAP" job, ask yourself if this quote applies and I think you'll be amazed at how many times the answer is 'yes'.
