Some Queenstown

A place for 'real world' pilots and aviation enthusiasts to discuss their hobby

Thought I'd toss this in here - I posted it a couple of years ago in tiny wmv format, so thought I'd see if YouTube can upsize it.
It uses RW recorded ATC and pilots voices from an ANZ B733 flight into Queenstown.
This is the FS approach and land portion.

It can be a crazy place that is for sure. Over the winter, there are as many as four jets plus an ATR on the ground at a time, plus all the milford traffic (anything from 10-15 fixed wing and numerous choppers) all day, plus our Pitts! Lot's of hold ups, I recall there being a few holdups but fantastic weather for it Charl!

cheers
