the assymetric thrust caused them to come off the side of the runway, obviously, but if say, the managed to keep it on the runway, they wouldnt have been able to stop in time anyway because of the power that engine was still producing. the ended up off the runway only 100mt from the end (contrary to what i said in the first post) which isnt that far off.
