I'll be going to Airbourne 08 and Shoreham Airshow in August biggrin.gif

The Red Arrows will be performing at both!

Quite right Flying Kiwi! The Oshkosh machine was Gerry Beck's new build P-51A, painted as Precious Metal for the upcoming movie Thunder Over Reno. I saw some footage of the collision with Casey Odegaard on YouTube - I won't link it as it's not pretty. Mind you, air crashes can't ever be considered pretty.

What's so good about the Dubai one? As said before, Farnborough in the 1950-1970s would be the best.

It's not really that the Dubai one is tons better than any of the others, for me it's that I quite want to go to Dubai anyway.
Plus most airshows are good, so there can't be anything wrong with it.
