Hey I dont see why your entry is a non entry if you won last month! smile.gif If people think its the best it should get the votes even if you did win last month.

What did you get from flight 1 anyway?

Edit - and the banner looks great

OK. This is my entry for the month, and seeing as Creator is getting all funky on us, I figure its time to join in.

Photo of a RNZAF Bell Iroquois taken at dawn near Hobsonville by a photographer for the Auckland Herald in the late 80s. He was using 1600 ASA film pushed to 3200 ASA to capture a sharp image of the blades, forgetting about the amount of grain that'd be in the photo. Contrast is up the spout coz developing b&w film that has been pushed past its normal limits can be a bit dicey.

PS. This is inspired by a real life photo that I took using the same technique - but in that instance, it was a Westpac Helicopter with a monsoon bucket.
Enjoy.

Nice shot, but the theme is 'RNZAF'. Read the guidelines on page of this topic.

I've always wanted to do a comic set in the 'Sleeping Dogs' universe, with a fascist NZ Government using Strikemasters to clear out resistance fighters on the Coromandel Peninsula...
Roger Donaldson actually talked the Air Force into using their aircraft, and filmed a rocket attack on the good guys in the bush. I can't imagine that happening these days, for a number of reasons...

The Strikemasters and A4s were in Sleeping Dogs along with Iroquois I think - now that is one movie I want to see again.

Edit: Hmm the trailer I found only had Skyhawks and Iroquois - I still recall Strikemasters though - maybe my memory is getting hazy............

I thought they used both, I'll need to rewatch it. In my story, they use whatever they can get their hands on, as the civil war goes on a bit...
Plus I wanted to use FSX, if I used FS2004 it woulda been Skyhawks:)

7) This month's theme is 'the Royal New Zealand Air Force'- the rest is up to you!

There is indeed guys, feel free to interpret it pretty loosely, but there should be some visible link to the theme. winkyy.gif

NZ7628 Parked for the night

After a hard day transporting VIPs around the country, RNZAF Andover NZ7628 parks up for the night at RNZAF Movements in Wellington. Once operated by 42 squadron, this aircraft now only flies in our flight simulators sad.gif Thanks to Steve Jenks for the stunning repaint, with model by Rick Piper.
