Wanganui Airport NZWU

An area to discuss scenery addons for virtual NZ

Postby Snowman » Wed Aug 20, 2008 4:45 pm

Does anybody have any pics in and around Wanganui Airport that they are willing to share with me ??
Obvious purpose,............. to build a new Airport Scenery to replace my old one. (for FS9 of course).
This new scenery will fit into the RBE Topo better, and also will be designed and built to compliment another "secret" special project by someone else.
Both projects will be released at the same time.

Ooh a secret, special project related to Wanganui?
Plus a refreshed Wanganui scenery?
Sounds good to me cool.gif
Don't have any photos of Wanganui myself, but hoping someone here will.
There's some data and a fairly small picture here

I'm always wary about those generic airport sites... always feel it's much better to just go to the AIP... unsure.gif

Lawrie, I 'd like to send you an aerial map of Wanganui to help with the placement of buildings etc. Send me your email and I'll post it over. If you have windows picture and fax viewer,or some other picture viewer, you can zoom the picture up closer to see more detail.

Sorry Guys,

Todays is not a good day for photography.

Very dark and rain.

Will still get out there at some stage.
