To anyone with some good thoughts on this subject, I would like to alleviate the problems I am having with FSX, I do not have FSX Acceleration installed, but do have SP1, I am running an Nvidia 8800GTS 320 graphics card on a Intel 2 duo core setup, I have 3 GB Ram with a ASUS 3GHZ CPU / motherboard, but regardless of changing settings, autogen etc, until I'M blue in the face, I still have the problems where I get flickering, especially when I am working from the cockpit, and also, sometimes when I am in the middle of a flight, it then just decides to crash, citing the CPU as the problem, which I have a problem accepting, as this is a fairly good system, which I bought, to make sure that I could run FSX.
I originally had Vista installed, but didn't like it, so I went back to XP, but I am beginning to think that this is still not a good enough system to run this program, which annoys me as I really want this to work, so the question is, what is the best way of setting this SIM up so it goes as it should, FS9 2004 is not a problem to run on this system, just FSX, maybe I need a different Graphics Card, or to buy and install FSX A

cceleration, or maybe I should just give it all up, and go back to flying in the Air Ambulance where I work, and think of something else to do.!!!.
