Welcome to Glenorchy, a small rural airfield, 2 nautical miles south of the small village of Glenorchy,
on the shores of the beautiful Lake Wakatipu, in the South Island of New Zealand.
Glenorchy is only a very short flight from Queenstown Airport (NZQN), at the opposite end of Lake Wakatipu.

This scenery was built specifically to fit into Robin Corn's freeware "Queenstown area Photoreal Scenery", freely
available on avsim.com ( filename.. nzqnv1.5.zip ).
I dont know what it will look like in standard RBE Topo or FS9 default ground textures.

A couple of pics quickly snapped off while building it...................
Not that theres much to see,... not much there in real life anyway,..... but there have been other details added since the pics were taken.........

Hmmmm - have a strange issue here.
Sort of invisible runway:

NZ topo 20m mesh and the flatten fix from here
http://nzff.org/forum/viewtopic.php?t=...t&p=8229227
applied.

AFCAD says rwy elevation is at 1200 ft, but aircraft sits at 1258,8 ft...
No duplicate AFCADs.

Any idea?

Cheers,
Markus.

Markus I think you will find that most of Snowman's airports require a copy of the AFCAD be placed in "...\Scenery\World\scenery"

Looking at most old airport scenery , the outside areas could realy do with a clean up and added AGN .
