Apart from SP1 and SP2 what other programs do I need to install so that I can enhance flying around NZ. ?
If I add any Aussie programs will they cause any problems. I have two HDD's in the Computer both with two partitions each.
CPU: Intel Core i5 760 @ 2.8GHz. Motherboard: Asus P7P55 LX. RAM: Kingston Hyper X 8GB 1600mhz DDR3 Non ECC. SSD: Samsung 250GB. HDD: WD !TB.

When you install the 'SP's correctly you will now have FSX system to add the scenery . The SP1/2 is an entire FSimX update , not only for the NZ , i found it easier to have the Accelerator addon , saves time and muck ups , and jeepers ... heartache

No , you can add many scenery files , I created a seperate file 'Program files 1' to make FSX independent from any other FS addon ....... so has worked without any bleed from the FS9 addon scenery folder which caused me problems .

Thanks Ian. If I install the Accelerator then I don't need SP1 and SP2.?

Pato - you don't mention freeware or payware.

If you're talking payware, then an *absolute must* is any of Rob's Godzone RealNZ scenery. He's not one for banging his own drum, so I'll bang it for him winkyy.gif

I've survived without having to splash out for any payware mesh. I only have the freeware 75m Red Baron mesh, seeing as I mainly poodle about the flat, boring bits around Auckland.

If I had the choice of only ONE bit of payware, I'd choose the RealNZ area I'd most want to fly in!

I have Godzone RealNZ Scenery with which I am not having a lot of success in FSX. I am about to start a re-install FSX and hence my question, which Ian has answered.
I do not need any Topo or 20m Mesh which I had in FS9 installed in FSX.?

I still have my mesh and topo installed to match up right with godzone and form the coast lines etc .. the fsim from what i have read around here will auto pick up the best mesh for the job i set mine at 19 m ..not sure why the realnz has a problem as all mine work ok in FSX so i would just do those installs slowly one at a time and test each one as you install etc...
good luck on the new install ,something i enjoy each time i do it ..

Thanks for your comments. I intend to do as you say and do them one at a time. It sounds as though you have done a few installs and I guess it can be interesting.
